Alpinia officinarum, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. Alpinia officinarum Hance is the dry rhizome of Alpinia officinarum Hance. This product is cylindrical, curved, branched, 5-9cm long, 1-1.5cm in diameter. Its surface is brown red to dark brown, with fine longitudinal wrinkles and gray brown wavy links.
